Kalpana Rai, a native of Kakinada, has acted in over 430 films. She made her debut in Needaleni Aadadhi and her last film was Navvule Navvulu. Movie Artistes Association, in a statement, condoled the death. It will hand over a cheque for Rs. 10,000 to the family. The last rites will be performed at Punjagutta this evening.
