		Home > News (January 2008) > Anjali Devi Selected For ANR Award Anjali Devi Selected For ANR Award January 04, 2008 Veteran actor-producer Anjali Devi has been selected for this year's Akkineni Nageswara Rao Award, instituted by the Akkineni International Foundation. ANR and Anjali Devi have acted together in about 50 films. She, along with her musician husband Adi Narayana Rao, also produced several films under the Anjali Pictures banner prominent among those being Paradesi, Suvarna Sundari, Swarna Manjari and Chandi Priya. The award will be presented on January 13 at a function to be held at Ravindra Bharati. Earlier recipients of the award include Dev Anand and Shabana Azmi.
