Vasu Combo January 16, 2008 Just some days back we informed you that Tamil superstar Rajnikant and director P. Vasu will come together again in K. Balachander's next production. The latest on the project is that prolific producer Ashwani Dutt will produce the Telugu version under his own banner, Vyjayanthi Films. JP Vijaykumar (of Seven Arts Films) will co-produce it. The film would be the remake of the M. Mohanan directed Christmas release Katha Parayumbol, starring Mammootty, Meena and Sreenivasan in the lead roles. Sreenivasan has penned the script himself. Rajnikant and Jagapati Babu will play the roles played by Mammootty and Sreenivasan in the original.
