		Home > News (January 2008) > Vaana To Release On January 15th Vaana To Release On January 15th January 01, 2008 The release date of Vinay-Meera Chopra starrer Vaana, a joint production of Sumanth Art Productions and SPR Entertainments Limited, has been fixed. The film, a remake of the Kannada hit Mungaru Male, will hit theaters on Tuesday, January 15th. Vaana is noted filmmaker MS Raju's debut directorial venture. His previous films like Okkadu, Varsham and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana were all released in mid-January and went on to become super hits, earning him the title of 'Sankranthi Raju'. After the not-so-encouraging fate of his last two films [Pournami and Aata] at the box-office, MS Raju will be hoping to repeat that 'Sankranthi Magic' again. It has dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers, music by Kamalakar, cinematography by Sekhar V. Joseph, art by Rajeev and editing by KV Krishna Reddy. The supporting cast comprises of Suman, Jayasudha, Seetha, Naresh, Dharmavarapu and Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao.
