 Rajasekhar Is Riding High
Despite a series of flops including his recent home production Apthudu, Dr Rajasekhar is still in demand. While his forthcoming film 'Nayakudu' is heading towards completion, the news is that he has five producers waiting in line for his dates. It is also reliably learnt that he hired a well-experienced manager to deal with his dates. Currently he is working for the film 'Nayakudu' which is produced by director Sagar. The shooting of this film is almost complete except for a song and a fight sequence. When contacted Rajasekhar said, "Yes, the news is true but I don't want to reveal or confirm any particular commitments. What all I can say is, I will be busy till the end of next year."
Actors Turn Singers
Though it is not unusual for actors to put their vocal chords to test, Srikanth, Sunil and Sivaji Raja are creating a craze by doing it all together. They have lent their voice alongside regular singers Lalitha Sagari, Sandeep and Sri Balaji for the title song of a forthcoming film Kanchanamala Cable TV made under the banner of Ramya Movies. "The song 'Kanchanamala Cable TV Care of Juvvalapalem...', written by Chandrabose has become very popular and is an instant hit with the music-loving public," said Parthasarathi, director of the film, who lent his voice too. The music is scored by none other than KM Radhakrishnan who scored melodious music for last year's surprise hit Anand. The film is slated for release on 7th of July.
Guru Songs Preview
Akash's last film 'Anandamanadamaye' could not register any impact on the box-office. Now, he is all set to bounce back with Guru. The film-makers arranged a preview show of the songs of the film for media people and close associates on July 28th at Prasad Labs. Produced by KK Murthy under the banner of Sri Selva Muthu Kumara Movies, the film is a bilingual (Guru Deva in Tamil). Pranathi is paired opposite Akash. Directed by B Jaffer, the film will hit the theatres soon.

Actor Nitin's father N Sudhakar Reddy has been elected as the president of the AP Film Chamber. The election took place on 26th June in the Chamber building. K Ramasubba Reddy, KL Narayana and Pradip Shah were elected as the Vice Presidents where as C Kalyan and D Chakrapani were elected as the Secrataries. M Shyam Prasad Reddy, P Kiran and B Amarnath have been elected as the Presidents for Producers wing, Studio wing and Exhibitors and Distributors wing respectively. Other office-bearers and executive members were also elected.
 Bhadra To Celebrate It's 50 Days In Vizag
'Dil' Raju's Bhadra produced under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations is heading for 50 days. To celebrate this occasion the producers are organizing a function in Vizag on July 2nd. The film is directed by Boyapati Seenu. Ravi Teja and Meera Jasmine played the lead roles.

Shooting Of 'Mulla Kireetam' Is Nearing Completion
Mulla Kireetam, a film based on Jesus Christ's life, is heading towards completion. The unit of the film met with the press to talk of the film's progress at Ramanaidu Studios, Nanakram Guda on 27th June. Speaking to the media NS Raja Reddy, who is playing the lead role of Jesus Christ said, "Major part of shooting for the film is complete. Shooting of the film will be completed by July 10th. So many films based on Jesus Christ's life have been made earlier but this will showcase him in an effective way." The film is produced by none other than his better half Nirmala Reddy and Mr Reddy is taking care of almost all the departments - story, direction, dialogues, script and screenplay. Actor Suman will be seen as King
Ferod in the film. The rest of the cast include Satya Reddy, Jayalalitha, Jyothi and Ramani among others. Jayalalitha is playing the role of Suman's wife.
The producer will announce the date of release soon.
 Nayanatara In Hindi Films
Nayanatara has become very popular with the success of Chandramukhi. She has already made her presence felt in Tamil and Malayalam movies. Thanks to the success of Chandramukhi, she caught the fancy of Telugu and Kannada film heroes too. And now, even Bollywood is going the same way. Eminent director Rajkumar Santoshi has invited Nayantara to act in his film. The hero could be either Salman Khan or Hritik Roshan.

Krishna Vamsi's New Movie Details
Krishna Vamsi is a director with a difference. His subjects vary from teenage love to factionism and traditions to extremism. The taking style and the handling of the subject is entirely unique. Now he is planning to launch his next venture. It is reliably learnt that there are three heroes in the film. One of the heroes is Sairam Shankar, brother of Puri Jagannath. This is his second film after '143'. Another hero is Allari Naresh, son of EVV Satyanarayana. The third hero and the heroines are yet to be finalised. Wedding Bells For Rajni's Daughter
Rajnikanth's second daughter is getting married to Editor Mohan's eldest son Raja. Though it is not announced officially so far, it is reliably learnt from sources that the engagement took place in Chennai. Sada With Balayya
Sada wowed the Telugu audience with her performance in Jayam. Unfortunately, most of her films after Jayam did not do well at the box-office. Recent blockbuster Aparichitudu moved her to a higher orbit. Now she is going to play the heroine opposite Balayya in a movie produced by Ambika Krishna and directed by AS Ravikumar Chowdary. Ranam Started
Ranam by Pokuri Babu Rao started its shooting schedule without much hype at Ramanaidu Cine Village in Nanakramguda today. Gopichand is the hero of this film. Kamna Jethmalani is paired up with Gopichand. Famous Malayalam star Bijju Menon is cast as villain for this film. Famous choreographer Rajasekhar is making his debut as director with this flick. According to Babu Rao the story of the film is the fight between a fearless youngman and a dreaded goonda. The film would be shot in a single schedule. Sanjay Leela Bhansali Sued
The Movie Moghul and producer of blockbusters like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Black is being sued by a Maharashtra Government Corporation. The Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Devolopment Corporation has sued Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Rs 6 crores. The suit is on Bhansali's production house for causing damage to its film city in Mumbai during the shooting of the film BLACK. The studio was hired by Bhansali in January 2004 for about 45 days. Fire broke out on February 18th 2004, reducing it to ashes. A report submitted by the Police and Fire department states that the producton unit is responsible and the fire is due to their negligence. The Corporation wants Bhansali to pay Rs 2 crores for the reconstruction of the set and Rs 4 crores towards the loss of rent from Feb 2004 to May 2005.

'Sri Ramadasu' Starts On August 6th
Regular shooting of Nagarjuna's latest film 'Sri Ramadasu' starts on August 6th. K Raghavendra Rao directs this film. A huge set of Bhadrachala Ramalayam is being erected in seven acres of Annapurna Studios. Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the role of Lord Rama and ANR is playing the role of Kabir Das in this film. It may be mentioned here that in the earlier version of 'Ramadasu', Chittor V Nagaiah played the role of Ramadasu while ANR played the role of Lord Vishnu and NTR played tha role of Lord Rama. Producer Konda Krishnam Raju is sparing no expense in making this film.
 'Oka Voorilo' On June 30th
Tarun's 'Oka Voorilo' is all set to release on June 30th. Chanti Addala is producing this film on Friendly Movies banner. Saloni is paired up with Tarun. Two More Films For Chandra Siddhartha
After having won the confidence of the Telugu audience with his last two films 'Aa Naluguru' and 'Appudappudu', director Chandra Siddhartha has now bagged two more movies. The first is with the producer of good taste who had many hits to his credit in Tollywood. He is none other than Ravi Kishore of Sravanthi Movies. This new venture may start with Uday Kiran as hero. The other is from Anandi Arts which produced 'Okariki Okaru' in the past. This seems to be a lady-oriented film. Rumours are that this is a satirical comedy on present-day politics.

KS Rama Rao who produced many hits with top heroes like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh on his Creative Commercials banner is now making a film with Siddharth as hero. Siddharth did well in Boys directed by Shankar and NVNV directed by Prabhu Deva. KS Ramarao selected shiva as the director for the film. It is interesting to note that Shiva worked as an associate director in many of Mani Ratnam's films.
Vennela In The US
Many movies like America Abbayi, Padamati Sandhyaragam, Chinni Krishnudu, America Alludu, Paradesi, etc., have been filmed totally in the US. After a long time another movie is being shot there in full. Raja of 'Anand' fame is the hero. Raja's latest film 'Mogudu Pellam O Dongodu' is releasing shortly. The regular shooting of this film titled 'Vennela' will start from July onwards in the US. Full details of the movie are yet to be known.

 'Nireekshana' Will Give Good Result - Dr D Ramanaidu
"As a producer, last two years I didn't get any success. But 'Neerikshana' will give a good result for me" said the ace producer Dr D Ramanaidu. "Neerikshana is a novel-based film. It is a clean family entertainer with good music. The lead pair Aryan Rajesh and Sridevi have given excellent performances. Now a days, novel-based films are very rare. We produced a number of novel-based films on our Suresh Productions banner. All of them turned out to be super hits. In this way we expect 'Neerikshana' to be a super hit movie from our banner," said Ramanaidu very confidently. This film is directed by debutant director Sitaram. It has music by srilatha, lyrics by Ravi and Chandrabose and cinematography by sarat. The entire post production of the movie was completed recently and the first copy is expected shortly. This movie will be released mostly by the end of this month.
'Guru' Arrives In This Month
The entire post production of RK production's 'Guru' was completed recently and the first copy is expected shortly. "Guru is an action-based film. When compared to my previous films it is very different and the audience will like it very much," said Akash, the hero of the movie. 'Guru' will give a good break for him after 'Aanandam' he expects. The film is produced by KK Murthy and directed by Jaffer and has music by RP Patnaik. This movie will hit the screens at the end of this month.
A Different Kind Of Film 'Shiva'
"The movie 'Shiva' has given a good break for Nagarjuna similarly the latest 'Shiva' will also give a good recognition for hero Pradeep," said the producer of the movie Ravichand. "Shiva is a different kind of film. It will definitely create a new trend within low budget films," he told. "Actually there are five or six songs in every movie. But our subject demands only two songs. That's why we put two songs with excellent presentation," he said. Pradeep and Saina play the main leads. Controversy surrounded the release of Vikram's latest bilingual film Aparichitudu (Anniyan in Tamil). The film has Vikram and Sada in the lead. Huge hoardings are erected in Chennai and there is a lot of enthusiasm about the film. Rumors are rife that Vikram is not happy with the Telugu version of the film and wants to present the film by himself. The dubbing rights of the film have been grabbed by Lakshmi Ganapathi Films. From reliable sources it is learnt that NBK might play the role of Lord Rama in 'Sri Ramadasu', but the actor is yet to confirm it. Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao directs the film. Nagarjuna is playing the role of Ramadasu in the film. Jyotika is paired up with Nagarjuna. NBK's 'Nartanasala' was stalled due to the sudden death of Soundarya and some unfortunate incidents following it. The film was launched on June 1st. RS Movie Productions Production Number Two Started
RS Movie Productions production number two was launched in a splendid style yesterday. The banner has previously produced a film titled 'Subbu' with NTR Jr. in the lead. Sumanth and Srihari are playing the lead roles. Srihari recently won applause for his role in 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana'. The first shot was canned on Srihari and Sumanth. On this occasion a press meet has been arranged. Anushka ('Super' fame) is paired up with Sumanth in this film.
Srihari said, "I take what comes up if it's a good director, a good story and a good producer. After NVNV, I am doing a wonderful role again in this film. The movie is an action packed drama. When the script of NVNV was narrated to me I knew that the film would be a success. And I felt the same when this film's script was narrated to me."
Sumanth said, "I haven't done such a good film in my career. This is the first time I am playing such a good character."
'Aparichitudu' To Release In The Third Week Of June
Popular director Shankar's latest film with Vikram and Sada in the main leads is ready for release. This film was made in both Tamil and Telugu. The Tamil version is titled 'Anniyan'. Vikram will be seen donning more than 80 getups in the film. Harris Jayaraj scored music. Subramanyam is releasing the film in Telugu.

Venky In A Variety Role
Victory Venkatesh's next venture will be directed by VV Vinayak. Venkatesh is playing a different role in the film. The film is produced by Nallamalupu Bujji. VV Vinayak created the character keeping in view the image of Venkatesh. Venkatesh's last film 'Subhash Chandra Bose' was a disaster, in which he played a different role. 'Adirindayya Chandram' Audio Released
Audio of the film 'Adirindayya Chandram' starring Sivaji in the lead was released yesterday. Sangeeta, Laya and Swathi Varma are paired opposite Sivaji. Sivaji is still looking for a hit after 'Misamma'. Srinivas Reddy is the director of the film. Suryaprakash Rao is the producer. The price of the audio cassette is Rs 15. The price was kept low to discourage piracy. MM Srilekha provided music for the film.

Bike Race Scenes Is 'Super' Attraction
Nagarjuna, who had two recent hits 'Nenunnanu' and 'Mass', is back and back big with his latest film 'Super'. This film is his own production. Puri is the director of the film. The film has two new heroines - Ayesha Takia and Anushka. Shooting of the film is complete except for a song. Post production work is going on. Audio of the film will be released on June 5th and the film will hit the theatres by the end of this month. Sandeep Chowta scored the music. The film has a lot of action scenes. Bike race scenes play a vital role in the film. "The film is titled 'Super' just for a new feel," says Puri.
'123 from Amalapuram' Audio Released
Ravi Prakash, Raja Sridhar, Anil and Nitya Das are playing the lead roles in the film '123 from Amalapuram'. The film's audio was released recently. Venkateshwara Rao scored the music. Raghavendra Varma is the director of the film. High dignitaries of the film industry and popular directors presided over the function. Tammareddy Bharadwaj released the audio and gave the first cassette to VV Vinayak. SV Krishna Reddy wished the unit all success.
'Guru' Audio Released
Audio of the film 'Guru' starring Akash in the lead was released yesterday. This film is made on the banner of S.S.M.K. Movies. Pranathi is paired up with Akash. The audio was launched at Seventh Heaven's conference hall in Punjagutta. D. Ramanaidu presided over the function. Nandamuri Kalyanram was the special attraction for this function. Surya Music bought the audio rights. The film has five songs scored by R.P. Patnaik. Speaking on the occasion Kalyanram said, "Akash's Anandam was a huge success. I hope this film will be a success too."
'Pellam Picchodu' Production Work Is In Progress
Jonnavittula Ramalingeshwara Rao, the lyric writer, has turned director. He is directing a film titled 'Pellam Picchodu' starring Rajendra Prasad. The film is full of comedy.
