The composer seems to have paid less attention to the music, as it has nothing new to offer. The movie stars Paramesh and Sindhu Tolani. Whatever genre the composer has taken up, it is definitely not a musical. Not bad, just old grape juice.
Sakhude Sakhude A medium paced duet rendered by Karthik and Chinmayee. A mellow beginning deceives you, because the pace picks up immediately as the playback starts. The fun element in the song is ever-present, but there is no freshness in any of the numbers. As for Sakhude, it is hummable and a cheery start to the album. **.75
Kreestu Purvame Aina 'Premante Magallaki Badale..' is the summary of the light-hearted number. Karthik lends his voice to this age-old grouse with lines penned by Peddada Murthy. It is a youthful number, although the feel of it is quite old because of the presence of such songs in so many other movies. It is a boys-only number, and a long rant about women. **.75
Naalo Sagamai This is a short and sweet number rendered by Sunitha. The once-upon-a-time-sweetness in Patnaik's simple and sweet romantic tunes shows its face in this song. ***
Gopala Gopala Chitra's solo with lyrics by Peddada Murthy. It has traces of Patnaik's 'Ela Telupanu' from Tarun-Arti Agarwal's Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu This genre adds to the versatility of the album. It has that rural feel to it and has a good rhythm to it. **.75
Devadasukunna Craze Nihal and SPB Charan render this number about boyish mischief with a chorus that goes 'Love Cheyi..'. This song starts in praise of all the neighboring girls, with the father asking his son to fall in love. It will probably look better on screen, as the situation demands some fun. ***
Olammo Orinayano The mandatory item number, something that RP excelled at for a couple of movies. It is a revamp of the original 'Olammo Orinayano'. Vijayalakshmi does a good job at the playback with Chaitanya Prasad's lyrics. ***
Last Word Sakhude and Kreestu Purvame are not bad, except there is absolutely no freshness in any of those songs. They are youthful and peppy songs, without any jarring tones. But it gives off a stale been there-heard that odor that music enthusiasts can do without. Even Devadasukunna Craze has that, but it makes a nice situational song. Naalo Sagamai is sweet and Olammo Orinayano is Patnaik's attempt to recreate the magic of his erstwhile folk-based numbers. Overall, not a bad album but nothing that catches your attention.
