K.Balachander who made films with rajnikanth ,kamal and chiru declared Rajni+Kamal=Chiru after Rudraveena.So one has to understand how far is chiru...but the scenario may be different.Kamal doesnot always act in commercial films.but chiru's image is different.He has been the No.1 hero for telugu films for many years instead of many families entered the field.That may not be possible with Kamal.Balachander has made rudraveena in tamil ,first with kamal.but he did not get any award.He got national award for telugu version(Rudraveena).so if we discuss there are many such differences..I saw a comment above on chiru which was very cheap.He/she commented just for name sake without any reason.I have been tamilnadu for 4 years and I know how tamilians are.They all laid down on railway tracks for eliminating hindi..but their superstar is from maharashtra...so....just think before commenting!

Kamalahasan, is not great actor...he is just actor with some gimmiks(amayakapu chestalavadiga,aadaveshalu, kurupi veshalu, maragujju veshalu..etc) Only Media gave him a BIG hand. At the same time he is dealt with Big Directors Like Kalatapaswi, K Balachander and Bharathiraja,Balumahendra.., They succeded with small actors Like Chandramohan, sudhakar...That is greatness of Directors not Kamalahasan. Chiru was invited to the function when the list was drawn along with Mamooty and AB. But I think over the period of time his name disappeared probably due to the refusal of chiru, but this cannot be taken as an insult because there are number of times when tamil actors are not invited to a major functions in telugu and no one in tamil considers that as an insult since telugu and tamil industry flourish together as one single family. So please dont bring hate here
Its a major mistake that there is no vide invitation for our Padmabhushan Dr.Megastar Chiranjeevi. Even though there is no problem for our chiru, because our chiru is always chiru. Producers & Directors of the movie should be ashmed for their behaviour. No doubt Kamal is a great actor, but he did not invited Dr.K.Viswanath & Singitham Srinivasa Rao who gave marvellous movies with Kamal. Its better to take care, that these type of things should not repeat again.
