The biggest flop and headache movie after 'Okka Magadu' in 2008. The movie is like series of comedy flicks from cartoon stories without matter. There is no consistency in the story line, comedy flicks are like tale stories and with no hilarious episodes in the movie. As usual Pavan kalyan cannot tell dialogs without properly standing or sitting, He always jumps(springs in his feet) while telling dialogs and a big fullstop(.) for every word in the dialog(he cannot tell continues big dialogs in a single streach). Movie is a big hype but there is no matter inside the movie. Very dissappointing movie, do not spoil your evening by watching this movie by simple listening the outside hype. don't be get fooled.

JALSA IS A MOVIE YOU WANT TO WATCH IT MORE THAN ONCE
I watched Jalsa this morning, it is amazing to see huge crowd and sense of celebration at neighborhood movie theater. Although it is released on 1000 screens, most movie critics rated this movie as an average flick - there is no shortage of large crowds. Based on media reports, Jalsa collected over 7.5 Crores on the day of release. It is fourth day and still drawing plenty houseful collections.
Allu Aravind is a smart businessman, he timed this movie release perfectly. There are no decent movies to compete with Jalsa and this is Ugadi long-weekend. Jalsa should be able to collect houseful collections through Ugadi which means it has potential to collect nearly 40 Crores in the first week itself. Jalsa has lots of right ingredients: Pawan Kalyan, Ileana and Trivikram. Before release of this movie, I was predicting it could collect close to 100 Crores. After watching Jalsa this morning, I have to cut my estimates to 60 Crores - it will easily break Pokiri collection records but it won’t be remembered as well as Pokiri. Despite excessive violence, Pokiri offered 100% entertainment. Jalsa fell short of being a total entertainer.
If media reports are correct, I strongly urge Chiru family members to stop meddling with Director’s creativity. You can focus on movie production activity but you must respect director’s freedom and should not influence director in any way. Let us face the fact, there is no director who would refuse if Chiru members suggest alterations in the movie script, dialogues, dances etc.
Chiru is Larger than Life
Directing larger than life persona is extremely intimidating for directors. Family meddling in movie direction can only hurt the outcome. Chirutha would have been a great movie if the second half was as good as the first half. It goes the same for Stalin, second half was completely ruined with factionism.
Jalsa is a decent entertainer, definitely worth watching it. There was lot of hype about this movie due to Pawan Kalyan, Ileana and Trivikram combination. Movie critics and first day movie goers were a bit disappointed primarily due to unreasonable expectations. This is a decent entertainer, everyone should watch it. This is a movie you would actually enjoy more when you watch second time than the first time. Pawan Kalyan is simply awesome, of course he is a bit funky/crazy - well that’s what we like about his action so no complaints. Trivikram’s dialogues were good, not as great as Nuvvu Naaku Nachhavu, Manmadhudu, Nuvve Nuvve etc. He did not have many satires. I am guessing Chiru family were not thrilled with satires so he had to scale back. Track between Sunil and Dharmavarapu is the best Brahmanandam had lousy comedy, only thing I liked about Prakash Raj’s mention of him in Nazar’s style (in Pokiri) when he was referring about Mahesh Babu being TOPPER in his IPS class. Only difference in this case, Brahmanandam is only constable, Trivikram is clever in using this satire.
Do you know Jalsa is a multi-starrer, Mahesh Babu is very much a big part of this movie. Trivikram is simply brilliant in using Mahesh Babu to narrate the entire story. Mahesh Babu was humble in agreeing to lend background voice.
Trivikram needs to learn a bit of glamor quotient, three heroines were pretty much wasted. Kamalini did not have much role, Parvati Melton needs to lose a few pounds to save tail-end of her acting career. On the other hand, Ileana can use couple of pounds of flesh, I am a huge fan of Ileana. At present time, Ileana is one lady that truly tests testosterone of male audience. However, she was not as appealing or as irresistible. Glamor Quotient was not used adequately in Jalsa.
Devi Sri’s music was too loud, no fresh tunes - sounded very much like his previous movie tunes. Trivikram did a good job of picturization of songs, Pawan Kalyan rocked with his dances and boy-next-door image. It is time for Chiru family to dump Devi Sri, he is just recycling his own tunes - he is not able to come up with fresh tunes like Manisharma. People get tired of listening to conglomeration of Telugu, Hindi, English and other language words in lyrics with loud bang bang bang sounds. Although music album is doing well, it is not a music you can listen after a few times - definitely music did not become an asset for this movie.
Mukesh Rishi was adequate as main villain. Abstract nature of ending is commendable. If you watched the last episode of Sopranos (English TV serial) it ends with a BLANK screen - just an abstract gesture. Trivikram also used similar abstract concept with respect to plugging sward in the ground at the end. Prakash Raj did a good job as a police officer, comedy track between Pawan and Prakash Raj was second best, once again comedy track between Sunil and Dharamavarapu was the highlight of the movie. Jalsa is truly an entertainer for Pawan Kalyan’s fans and a decent time pass movie for the rest of the crowd to watch. Trivikram rocks, we can continue to expect great number of entertainer flicks from him. Pawan Kalyan is one blessed actor, it has been a long time since he came out with a decent hit - it is a good re-start for him.
Finally, go ahead and watch Jalsa. If you don’t enjoy it as much first time, go ahead and watch it again - you would surely love Jalsa second time

Last Word is not a great movie. with out a tighter screenplay its not qualified as a good movie.For now, it is time-waste.For Pawan and fans, definitely time to repent.Whatever the fate of the movie, Sanjay Sahu will be among the worst characters that he has played for Bangaram and Annavaram and others are highly forgettable and typecast. After Balu and Siddhartha Roy (to an extent, Gudumba Shankar), Sanjay Sahu will stay in the similar lines.
