The muhurat of Sumanth Art Productions' latest venture 'Aata', starring Siddhartha and Mamatha Mohandas in lead roles, was performed at 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 3. Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao sounded the clapper-board, while financier Satya Rangaiah switched on the camera and B. Gopal directed the muhurat shot.

Sarada will play a vital role in the film. Devisri Prasad, a regular with MS Raju, will score the music, while Paruchuri brothers will pen the dialogues. VN Aditya will direct (not Harish Shankar-he will just pen the story), Chota K. Naidu will handle the camera and KV Krishna Reddy will edit the film.

Regular shooting will commence from October 10 with shooting schedules in Australia (a 30-day schedule), Hyderabad, Araku and Kutralam waterfalls-Tamilnadu. The tagline of the film is To win the hearts.
