The music of Vishwak Movies' 'Adi Lakshmi' was released on Monday, October 16 at a function at Padmalaya Studios, Hyderabad. Present at the occasion was an entire cast and crew of the movie that included producers Y. Suresh & C. Bhaskar Raju, director RV Suresh, music director Chakri, Srikanth, Vadde Naveen, Sridevi, Kadambari Kiran, lyricists Bhaskarabhatla & Peddada Murthy and singers Hemachandra, Ravi Varma, Kousalya, Venu, Sudha, Sunanda & Vijaya Lakshmi and Dayanand (of Aditya Music).

Puri Jagan, the chief guest of the evening, released the music. Also present were Naga Babu, EVV, D. Suresh Babu and B. Subrahmanyam (of Lakshmi Ganapathi Films).

Incidentally, this is Chakri's 50th film as a music director. Srikanth gifted a new pair of goggles to Chakri on this occasion.

Chakri started his career with Puri Jagan's Bachi (2000). He immensely thanked his mentor in his speech adding that, "Without his support I would not have been here to talk to you."

Aditya Music is marketing the music of the film. Noted singer Vishwa anchored the event.
