Andhrudu Audio Release Function
Dr D Ramanaidu released the audio of Andhrudu and handed over the first copy to comedian Dharmavarapu Subramanyam. This function was held at Viceroy Hotel in Hyderabad on the morning of 23rd July. Gopichand is the hero and Gowri Pandit is the heroine in this film, which is being produced by ML Kumar Chowdary under his banner Keerthi Creations.
Ramanaidu hoped that this film will succeed. "The reason is the planning of ML Kumar Chowdary. A producer should see the production of a film as a business but should not run after success. They should take both success and failure in their stride. This is my style. I see the same qualities in Chowdary. That is why he is able to produce films continuously. Hero Gopichand needs to be complemented. So many offers came to him after Yagnam. He was selective. Director Paruchuri Murali is also talented. I wish them all the success," he said.
Dharmavarapu mentioned that he acted in all of Murali's films. This film is produced with good planning and powerful team. He hoped that this will get a good name to the team.
Chandrabose, the lyricist, complained that it is very difficult to work with such directors and producers as they are the people with taste. "I wrote four songs for the film and the song on cuckoo (kokila) is the song I like the most," he said.
Bhaskarabhatla, the other lyricist, complemented Kalyani Malik for his excellent tunes. He hoped that it will be a musical hit.
Kalyani Malik, the music director, said, "I am happy to have worked with a good director. All the credit for the music of this film goes to Murali".
Hero Gopichand was very appreciative of Kalyani Malik. He said, "The music has come out well. The rerecording effects are also very good. I hope that this film will be a sure hit."
Director Murali in his speech said, "Kalyani Malik is impressed with the story. His tunes are extraordinary. Picturisation also has come out very well. There was a talk that myself and producer are at loggerheads. The differences, if any, are only like those of a father and son and nothing personal."
The producer ML Kumar Chowdary gave the credit for the music to Kalyani Malik. He said, "For the first time Kalyani Malik took up music direction in Telugu. We are extremely happy with the output. I hope that the audio as well as the film will be a success."
Heroine Gowri Pandit and others also spoke at the occasion. TV anchor Raghu Kunche anchored the event. Those who were present include Pavan Malhotra, Sayaji Shinde, Khalim Panda, cameraman Vijay C Kumar, Umesh Gupta of Aditya Music, Devi Prasad (director of 'That Is Pandu'), Sunku Ramesh, Ram-Lakshman, Swarna, Ramesh Gopi, Haritha, Sujitha and Master Deepak.
