The silver jubilee celebrations of the 'Prince' Maheshbabu-starrer 'Athadu' were held at Sudarshan 35 mm theatre at RTC crossroads. The theatre is believed to be a lucky mascot for Maheshbabu with three of his films - Murari, Okkadu and Athadu - celebrating a silver jubilee run at the hall. Present on the occasion were Trivikram Srinivas, MS Raju, Sudhakar Reddy, Diddi Rambabu (President - All India Mahesh Krisha Sena), Sunil (of Asian Films) and Nanda Gopal (Sudharshan 35 mm theatre owner) amongst others.

Speaking on the occasion, ace producer MS Raju expressed his wish that his next film with Maheshbabu, 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna', would run for 250 days at the same theatre.

Script writer-turned-director Trivikram Srinivas hoped for more such silver jubilee films from Maheshbabu.
