The music of 'Bhagya Lakshmi Bumper Draw', the Telugu remake of the Bollywood hit 'Malamaal Weekly', was released at a function at Durgamma Cheruvu, Hyderabad on Thursday, October 19. Priyadarshan, the director of the original film and the chief guest of the evening, officially released the music.

Earlier, singer Kousalya entertained the audience with a song from Idiot-Ee Roje Thelisindi.

Director Nidhi Prasad in his speech said, "Srikanth gave me my first break in the film 'Nidhi'. He was then riding on the success of Pelli Sandadi. Priyadarshan is like my guru. I am glad that I got the opportunity to direct his film in Telugu."

The entire cast and crew of the film-producers Raju & Praveen, presenter pradeep Gaekwad, music director Chakri, dialogue writer LB Sriram, action director duo Ram-Lakshman, cinematographer Sharath, art director Peketi Ranga, editor Shankar, Rajendra Prasad, Rishi, Farzana, Venu Madhav, Tanikella Bharani, Abhinayasri, Ram Jagan, Sudharshan and Benerjee, were present at the occasion.

Also present were Srikanth, Dharani, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, D. Sureshbabu, Gemini Kiran, Seema, Pooja Bharathi, Anuradha and Dayanand (of Aditya Music).

Dialogue writer-turned-character artiste LB Sriram, who penned dialogues for films like Hitler and Hello Brother, is making a comeback with this venture.
