The audio CD of Sri Venkateswara Creations' 'Bommarillu' was released on Friday, July 21 in a low-key manner at a function held at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. The lead pair-Siddhartha and Genelia, music director Devisri Prasad, director Bhaskar, producer Dil Raju, dialogue writer Abburi Ravi and Raju Harwani (of 'Supreme Music') attended the event.

Siddhartha and Genelia jointly released the audio CD and gave away the CDs to other unit members.

Most of the tracks of the film are situational and should flow well with the narrative of the movie, informed Devisri Prasad, a regular with 'Dil' Raju. "Siddhartha has already proved himself time and again, but Genelia will make people take notice of her talent in this film," he added.

Everyone present showered praises on the acting skills of Genelia. "She delivers, what can be rightly called, the performance of her career," said Siddhartha, who also sang a song in the film. He dubbed the film a realistic commercial entertainer. "Realistic because it is close to real-life and commercial because it is not an art film and has all the commercial elements," he said.

Genelia thanked director Bhaskar for bringing out the best in her. "No actor other than Siddhartha would have accepted the role as both of us share equal screen time," she said in her address.

Dil Raju, who delivered three back-to-back hits-Dil, Aarya and Bhadra, hoped that the film will continue the success run.

The film is slated for a August 5 release.
