Polygon Motion Pictures (P) Ltd.'s debut venture, starring Sumanth and Charmme in lead roles, has been titled 'Chinnodu'. Jointly produced by Katragadda Lokesh Dutt & CV Srikanth and directed by Kanmani, it has music by Ramana Gogula and cinematography by Jeswanth.

At a press meet organized on August 23 to formally announce the title, Sumanth said, "I was more than impressed when I heard the script narration from Kanmani. I had tears in my eyes at the end of the narration. This is my next commercial film after 'Godavari'. I have a role in the film that will be appreciated by the masses."

Katragadda Lokesh Dutt, one of the producers, said, "The current schedule will end by September 10. After this schedule, the entire shooting of the film will be complete (barring two songs). We are planning to shoot the remaining two songs abroad."

'Chinnodu' is slated for a early October release, tentatively on the 2nd (on the eve of Vijaya Dasami). Sumanth and Charmme have earlier starred together in 'Gowri'.
