The music of 'Dhoolpeta,' starring Dhanush, Sneha and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles, was released at a function held at Ramanaidu Studios on Sunday, May 14. Dr. D. Ramanaidu released the audio cassette and Dhanush received the first cassette, while VV Vinayak released the audio CD and Shekhar Kammula received the first CD. The bilingual film is going to be released simultaneously in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on May 19.

Also present on the occasion were B. Gopal, Aswini Dutt, AM Rathnam, Sanam Naga Ashokkumar, Vakada Apparao, financier Sunku Ramesh, B. Subrahmanyam (of Lakshmi Ganapathi Films), Bhimineni Srinivasa Rao, Pokuri Baburao and Umesh Gupta (of Aditya Music), amongst others. Aditya Music has acquired the music rights of the film.

Jointly produced by Mega Supergood Films Pvt. Ltd. (NV Prasad & Paras Jain) and Lakshmi Movie Makers (India) Ltd. (K. Muralidhar, V. Swaminathan & G. Venugopal), the film is presented by RB Chowdary and directed by Sri Raghava. It has lyrics by Bhuvanachandra & Medisetty, dialogues by Shashank Vennelakanti, cinematography by Arvind Krishna, choreography by Dinesh & Kalyan, art by Santhanam, action by Rambo Raajkumar, editing by Kola Bhaskar and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
