		Home > Gallery > Events > Gopichand- Meera Jasmine Starrer Opening Function Gopichand-Meera Jasmine Starrer Launched Producer GVG Raju's next venture, starring Gopichand & Meera Jasmine in the lead, being made under the banner of SSC Arts, was launched on December 1st, 2005. Uday Shankar (of 'Kalisundam Raa' fame) is the director. Professor G Sriramulu, clapped the muhurat shot, which was picturised on Meera Jasmine. GVG Raju switched on the camera. The muhurat shot was filmed at the Venkateswaralayam near Srinagar Colony. Speaking on the occasion, Uday Shankar said, "Gopichand, who is known for his action films, will be seen in a new avatar in the film. This is my third film in Telugu after 'Kalisundam Raa' and 'Prematho Raa'." GVG Raju said, "The film was launched today with an initial 25-day schedule in Hyderabad. Three more schedules will be held in the months of January, February and March. We are planning to release it for Summer 2006." The film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Jayaprakash Reddy, MS Narayana, Venumadhav and Sumitra amongst others.
