Actor-director Cheran (of 'Autograph' fame) is currently producing a Tamil film 'Azhagaai Irukkiraai Bayamaai Irukkiradhu', starring Bharat, Mallika Kapoor, Arunkumar and Deepika in lead roles. Cinematographer Vijay Milton makes his debut as a director with the film.

A new banner 'New Entertainment' of Bunny Vasu, Sumanth and D. Maruthi Sivatma has acquired the Telugu dubbing rights of the film. The film's muhurat was held on Saturday, March 4, at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Apart from the cast and crew of the film, KS Ramarao, B. Madhu, Allu Aravind, Allu Sireesh and Dil Raju, were spotted at the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Allu Aravind said, "Vasu is a good friend of my son. He holds a Masters in Computer Engineering and has a keen interest in films. I encouraged him a lot. He started a film distribution company in Guntur which boasts of a good success rate. I wish him success in his efforts."

Cheran said, "This is my second film as a producer. Prior to this, director Vijay milton worked as a cinematographer for my film, 'Autograph'. It is message-oriented love story with all the commercial values intact. We are planning for a April 14 release. It will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu."

Vasu in his address expressed gratitude to Allu Aravind and Dil Raju. Writer Sri Rama Krishna said the film has a trademark Cheran stamp all over it. Vijay Milton said the film is a screenplay-oriented musical love story.

It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, dialogues by Sri Ramakrishna, lyrics by Veturi and editing by Trinath. An extreme love story, 'Maha' has a rather interesting tagline "Andanga Unnavani Bhayam"!
