The music of director SV Krishna Reddy's big-budgeted comedy flick 'Mayajalam' was released in a grand manner at a function held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Madhapur, Hyderabad on Sunday, April 16, which also happens to be World Voice Day.
The music launch commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by Suchitra Chandrabose. Prior to that, Gangadhar and group entertained the audience with songs from various films. Scintillating dance performances by Navneet Kaur, Tanu Roy, Abhinayasri and Ankita marked the celebration.
A comedy skit was presented by Ramana Murthy, Gundu, Ashokkumar, Ragini, Chittibabu and Tirupati Prakash. But the highlight of the evening was the performance by mimicry artiste DTS Anand.
K. Raghavendra Rao, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, KC Sekhar Babu & C. Kalyan, Tammareddy & Arjuna Raju and Kamna & Deepti released a song each. The following are the details -

On behalf of RR Movie Makers, they also donated a cheque for Rs. 1 lakh each to CARE Foundation for treatment of children suffering from heart diseases, Swayam Krushi - Home for the Mentally Retarded, Devnar Foundation for the Blind, Sri Satyasai Educational and Lepers Welfare Society and Abhinandana Welfare Society.
Also spotted at the music launch were presenter K. Atchi Reddy, executive producer V. Suresh Reddy, cinematographer Vijay C. Kumar, lyricist Chandrabose, writer Janardhana Maharshi, Kishore Rathi, Sivajiraja, ML Kumar Chowdary, Shafi, Sayaji Shinde, Jagapati Babu, JK Bharavi, Hema, Raghu, Ali, Uttej, Venu Madhav, E. Satti Babu, Bharat Parepalli, Bharat (Raviteja's brother) and Pavan (of Maruti Music), amongst others.
Ace comedian AVS and Bhargavi anchored the event. Maruti Music has acquired the music rights of the film. The event was telecast live by both Teja and MAA channels.
