Mazaa Press Meet
The press meet of 'Mazaa', Chiyan Vikram's next bilingual after 'Aparichitidu', was held on the evening of 22nd September, 2005 at Hotel Holiday Inn, Hyderabad. Asin is paired opposite Vikram in the film. Made under the banner of Rockline Entertainment [P] Ltd, the film is produced by Rockline Venkatesh, presented by Neelakanta Naidu, directed by Shafi and has music by Vidyasagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Chiyan Vikram said, "Life is not just about problems, it is about enjoyment also. This is the central theme of 'Mazaa'. It is an action-oriented entertainment film. 'Mazaa' is the story of a father and his two sons. All three of them are thieves. It is about the problems faced by them when they want to lead a normal life. This is my second film with cinematographer Subramanyam after 'Sivaputrudu'. There are a total of five songs and seven action scenes in the film. It was great working with producer Rockline Venkatesh."
Rockline Venkatesh said, "We are planning to release this bilingual for Diwali. The film was completed in a period of 80 days flat. Shafi directed a few films in Malayalam. This is his first film as a director in either Tamil or Telugu."
Asin said, "I'm happy to be paired with Vikram. My name in the film is Sitamahalakshmi. I'm playing a village belle."
Subramanyam (cinematographer) and Prabhakar (art director) also spoke on the occasion.
