Modati Cinema Press Meet
Press meet of Navdeep-Poonam starrer 'Modati Cinema' was held at Prasanth Kuteer on 27th August, 2005. The film directed by Kuchipudi Venkat is produced by Kunduru Ramana Reddy under the banner of Abhisatwika Creations. Kuchipudi Venkat, Kunduru Ramana Reddy, Navdeep, Poonam, Swaraj (music director) and Krishna Bhagawan participated in this event.
Speaking on the occasion, Kunduru Ramana Reddy said, "I know Kuchipudi Venkat for the past three years. I okayed the story as I liked it a lot. This is a different love story. The shooting for the film went on for 48 days. Shooting for three out of six songs is complete. Shooting for the rest of the songs would be completed by 14th September. Raju Sundaram, apart from choreographing, played a vital role in the film. Swaraj is making his debut as a music director with this film. We are planning to release the movie in October, tentatively on the 12th, on the eve of Vijaya Dasami.
Kuchipudi Venkat said, "We started the film on May 10th. I dont want to say that its a novel concept but it would be something that would attract the audience."
Swaraj said, "I am glad to make my debut with a good film. I would like to thank the producer and director for giving me this opportunity."
Navdeep said, "This is my third film. I am glad to work with a good team. I hope this film does well."
