Though they kept low profile during the making of the film, the producers of the experimental three-character movie Mogudu Pellam O Dongodu have finally come out of the closet by releasing the audio cassette of the film at Filmnagar Cultural Club in Jubilee Hills on June 24th, 2005.
Made under the banner of Sri Ramalayam, the film is produced by Vakada Anjankumar and will be presented by Vakada Apparao. Venky, who created waves with his film Kabaddi Kabaddi, directed the film. The venue was lightened up with the presence of eminent film personalities and well-wishers of the makers apart from the huge gathering of journos.
Chief guest Dr D Ramanaidu released the audio cassette and gave the first unit to Tammareddy Bharadwaja and the second unit to star producer MS Raju.
Director Venky said, "The film revolves around just three characters - Raja, Shriya and a comical thief Brahmanandam. Though it is an experimental film I am confident that it will turn out to be commercially successful."
Others present at the function were Raja, Vakada Anjankumar, Ali, Brahmanandam, lyricists Peddada Murthy and Chandrabose and debutant music director Kabuli. Almost everyone at the venue was confident about the success of the audio. Satenna anchored this event.
