Popular director Sagar produces this film on Shravani Cinema banner. Star producer MS Raju released the audio and gave the first unit to SV Krishna Reddy and the second unit to AS Ravikumar Chowdary. Also present at the function were C Kalyan, Atchi Reddy, ML Kumar Chowdary, KC Sekharbabu, KL Narayana, S Gopal Reddy, Sri Sai Harsha, director Kodi Ramakrishna, producer Sagar, Rajasekhar, Jeevitha, Rami Reddy, Jeevi, Madhu Shalini and others. Speaking on the occasion, Kodi Ramakrishna said, "I was afraid when Sagar, an established director himself, handed over the director's chair to me. But when I watched the final rushes of the film, I felt his confidence in me was true. This will be a bigger hit than all my previous films in the combination of Rajasekhar. The film has all the ingredients - sentiment, emotion, comedy and action." SV Krishna Reddy said, "All the songs in this film are good. I am saying this after listening the album in its entirety. I wish Nayakudu a huge success." Sagar said, "When I came across the story, I felt only the combination of Rajasekhar and Kodi Ramakrishna could do justice to it. Final editing of the film is in progress. I hope the film will be received well." Rajasekhar said, "Sagar is a good producer and he strives for quality in his work. Kodi Ramakrishna has extracted a fine performance from me. I feel comfortable working with him. I thank them (Sagar and Kodi) for the confidence they have placed in me."
