Stills Working Stills		Home > Gallery > Events > Pothe Poni Audio Release Function Pothe Poni Audio Release Function The audio of Tammareddy Bharadwaja's message-oriented film 'Pothe Poni' was officially released on the evening of October 15th, 2005 at a function held at the residence of Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao. Made under the banner of Dream Team Entertainments, 'Pothe Poni' is produced by Praveen and stars Siva Balaji and Sindhu Tolani in lead roles. Aditya Music has acquired the music rights of the film. Dasari Narayana Rao, the chief guest at the function, officially released the music and presented the first copy to Sindhu Tolani. Mickey makes his debut as a music director with the film. Speaking on the occasion, Dasari said, "This is an experimental film and Tammareddy Bharadwaja's best film after 'Alajadi'. Starting as 'Bullet' the title was changed to 'Pothe Poni' on my suggestion. If the film is released with 10-12 prints, it might turn out to be a big hit." Tammareddy Bharadwaja said, "The entire shooting of the film is complete and re-recording is in progress. We are planning to release the film in November. The 'I don't care' attitude is not going to help any. This is pretty much the central theme of the film." Siva Balaji said, "I play a middle-class man in the film. Though the film sounds like a heroine-oriented flick, my role has equal importance. The songs in the film are situational." Sindhu Tolani said. "The name of my character in the film is Shanthi. The hero and heroine are childhood friends who turn lovers. We all worked very hard on the film." Music director Mickey said, "This is my first film as a music director. I would like to thank the producer and director for giving me this opportunity." Singer and dubbing artiste Sunitha said, "I have dubbed for Sindhu Tolani. I also sang the song 'Evaru Iccharu Meeku Evaru Iccharu Manishini Champe Hakku'. The song questions all the sections of the society."
