Premiste Audio Release Function
The audio of 'Premiste', the dubbed version of the Tamil hit 'Kadhal', was officially released on the night of 24th September, 2005 at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. The film, produced by Suresh Kondeti, presented by Shankar and directed by Balaji Shaktivel, has music by Joshua Sridhar. Singers Sunitha and Simha anchored the event.
Dr D Ramanaidu, Allu Aravind, Venkatesh and EVV Satyanarayana participated as chief guests. Also present at the function were KL Narayana, NV Prasad, Sanam Naga Ashokkumar, Chandra Siddhartha, VN Aditya, RP Patnaik, Devi Sri Prasad, Rohit, Raja, B Gopal, Parvati Melton, Charmi and Sada, apart from the cast and crew of the film.
The event witnessed dazzling performances by the likes of Navneet Kaur, Pooja (model), Jyothi, Tanu Roy and Ankitha. They performed to the songs from various films of Shankar. Shankar was felicitated on the occasion. Dr D Ramanaidu did the honors.
Speaking on the occasion, Shankar said, "This is my first film as a producer. When Balaji Shaktivel narrated the story to me, I was moved by it. I knew that I may not do full justice to the film, hence I handed over the director's hat to Shaktivel restricting myself to the producer's seat. He has done full justice to the subject. The film went on to become a huge hit in Tamil. I hope it works in a big way in Telugu too. Both Bharath and Sandhya have performed well. Sandhya's performance in the film reminds us of Saritha in 'Marocharitra'. Director Shaktivel is all set to become one of the best directors in the film industry."
