The premiere of 'Shock', a joint production of Ram Gopal Varma and Suresh Kondeti, eventuated on Wednesday, February 8 at the PVR multiplex at Punjagutta, Hyderabad. The film marks the debut of director Harish Shankar. The event was attended by the entire cast and crew of this film - producer Suresh Kondeti, director Harish Shankar, writer Kona Venkat, Raja Ravindra and Subba Raju. Ram Gopal Varma was conspicuous with his absence. Others present at the occasion included ML Kumar Chowary, S. Gopal Reddy, KL Narayana, B. Madhu, Nallamalupu Bujji, Murali Krishnam Raju, Allari Naresh, EVV, Nitin, Raghu, Bharat, Chota K. Naidu and Mona Chopra (of 'A Film By Aravind' fame).
