The music of 'Something Special,' starring Samrat, Rajender, Sunaina, Aswini and Mona Chopra in lead roles, was released at a function held at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. ANR released the music and gave the first cassette to Indian Idol runner-up Karunya, who sang two songs in the film.

Apart from the cast and crew of the film, those who present at the music launch include A. Kodanda Rami Reddy, EVV Satyanarayana, Ashokkumar, Gundu Sudharshan, Chalapati Rao, Suman Shetty and Raju Harwani (of Supreme Music), amongst others. Bhargavi anchored the event.
