Sri Sarva Sai Films Opening Function
Sri Sarva Sai Films production no 6 was launched on the morning of 6th August at Annapoorna studios. Sai Ratnam, who produced films like Sivaram, Indiramma, Khaki chokka, etc., in the past, is producing this film. Sarat is making his debut with this film. Rambha, Abhinayasri and Lakshmi Roy (of Kanchanamala Cable TV fame) are in the cast. Selvendran is the director.
K Mahendra (producer, AA Arts) clapped the opening shot. Parachuri Gopala Krishna switched on the camera. The first shot was taken on Sarat and Rambha.
Producer Sai Ratnam said, "This is my 6th picture. All my earlier films are action-oriented. For the first time, I have taken up love and entertainment subject. This is the first film for hero Sarat. Director Selvendran worked with Shankar (Aparichitudu). Ilayaraja's disciple Bharani is the music director. The team has excellent technical capabilities. The shooting starts from today. There will be a one-week schedule at Rajahmundry. The songs will be shot in Srilanka and France. Since it is a different love concept, I hope the audience will like it."
Rambha said that she is happy that her character in this film is in the range of her award winning Tamil fim Sundara Purushan. She also said, "I am doing this film after a gap of one year. I have become selective in choosing films. This will be the best character in my career. I will look more glamorous in the songs."
Director Selvendran said, "I worked with director Shankar and also directed a Tamil film ‘Oru Kadal Oru Kadali’ which got me good recognition. This is my first Telugu film."
Hero Sarat said that he is happy to get this opportunity and thanked the director and producer for this. Writer Rajasekhara Reddy, music director Bharani, cameraman Diwakar Babu and others participated in the program.
