 Jagapatibabu-Amani-Roja starrer Shubalagnam, directed by SV Krishna Reddy, topped the list by collecting a 100-day gross of over Rs. 15 lakhs. Considering only Guntur district, the only other films to collect a gross of over Rs. 15 lakhs before this film were Chanti and Gharana Mogudu.
Also, two other SV Krishna Reddy directed films-Number One and Yamaleela-celebrated a 100-day run at Pallavi Deluxe and Little Krishna respectively, making it three in a row in that year for the director.
