Dasari - The Wave That Fell And Rose
Dasari was the next legend that I had the opportunity of meeting on my job of inviting people to Sushmita's marriage. We do meet on some occasion or the other. Everytime we meet, he is in the midst of a sensation. Talk about fall and the unexpected rise, and you invariably remember two people – Amitabh, and following him, Dasari. Just when we thought that all was over with them, they surprised us as warriors who resumed their fight with redoubled spirit and energy. One is really astounded at the fighting spirit of Dasari who, in spite of the many ups and downs as a director, went on to direct no fewer than a hundred and fifty movies. His ever being busy with his multifarious activities as a director, producer, actor, politician, etc., can never erase the endearing smile on his face. Whenever he takes the stage to speak on any topic, he speaks with conviction. Dasari is a great example of an energetic personality.

Glittering Star On The Screen, A Great Saint Behind The Screen - Rajnikant
Sushmita's marriage gave the opportunity of meeting another great star and great human being – Rajnikant. The fire breathing and debonair on the screen looks a perfect saint off the screen. Once he is off the screen the mask of the actor is off his face and he looks an ordinary mortal. This sudden and welcome transformation marks him out as something different. Of his latest movies that impressed me a lot is his 'Baba.' It certainly is a great philosophical thriller, if you don't talk about commercial successes and failures. Just as a young boy turned 'Mummidivaram balayogi,' after watching KV Reddy-Nagaiah's 'Yogi Vemana,' so might this movie have brought about transformation in some, I strongly believe. It impressed me so much. I do feel too that there is a closeness between Rajnikant's role in this movie and his real self. Why should any person have ego at all, is the question that you get when you see a successful figure like Rajnikant behaving in such a simple and down to earth manner. My great respect for him owes to this aspect of his character.
