Evari peru chepte..box-office record create ayindo, athane Indra! It was the phase of Rayalaseema faction flicks. Chiranjeevi as Ashwani Dutt's Indra walked in with his trademark confident strut. The dialogues are now so etched in memories, that any gag, any standup comic, any mimicry from the movie creates an effect. Chiranjeevi elevated beyond reach, with 100 days at 100+ centres. Indra made history, being the first Telugu movie to cross the 300 million mark. We are still talking rupees here, but hey, no one could reach that till Indra came along.
