Venkatesh
Being a topnotch producer's son, Venkatesh is bound to understand the dynamics of cinema much better than the average joe. The fact that he is known as 'Victory' Venkatesh might allude to his strong box-office pull, but it's as much his sensibilities of cinema that it refers to. An MBA from the US, he wanted to get into production, but became an actor instead. After a debut in Kaliyuga Pandavulu in '86, he did Swarnakamalam and later Bobbili Raja (with the unforgettable Divya Bharati), and then there was no looking back. His earlier career saw versatility in the choice of characters, while the latter part saw, and is seeing an orientation to 'family' dramas. With two hits last year, Victory's on a high.
