Poolarangadu has been censored and has been awarded a U/A certificate. Speaking to CineGoer.com, the director said that these days people are thinking twice to attend a clean film that has been awarded a U certificate and the impression that has gone down with the viewers is that only a critically acclaimed film is qualified a U, there would be no masala and entertainment. This category is a plus to Poolarangadu. He hopes that his film will repeat the magic of Ahana Pellanta.
The filmmakers have already smartly leaked the the six-pack still of Sunil to generate a hype and the heroine has been making appearances displaying her underwear to get her share of publicity. The film is releasing in 450 theatres on the 18th of February. It is touted to be Sunil's first commercial and out and out mass movie, Isha Chawla plays his love interest. It is directed by Veerabhadram.
