3 Idiots directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi collected around Rs. 375 crore worldwide. Now this blockbuster is being made in Telugu and Tamil. A rumour is on that Mahesh Babu is likely to play Aamir Khan's role in the Telugu version and it could be directed by Shankar. The project could go on sets after Shankar's current project Robot (Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai) releases. Will be produced by Gemini Film Circuit and AR Rahman will score the music.
