Nitin has a robinhood like heart, steals the rich and distributes it amongst the poor. On one occasion he hears of Ahuti Prasad who plays the home minister, he apparently has hidden crores of money in the water tank in his home. Thanks to MS Narayana's stupor and stupidity, the job becomes easy.
Ahuti Prasad now not only loathes Nitin for this, to make things worse for him his daughter Ileana has fallen in love with him. There is a villain from the Middle East who wants these crores and kidnaps his daughter for the same. Nitin steps into this picture, settles scores and wins over Ileana who is initially hesitant.
Ileana has done a good job, there is fiery side to her as well, the way she challenges the villains when they capture her and runs, her eyes doing most of the work is commendable.
While Raghu Babu keeps you engaged post interval, there is Venu Madhav too who plays a minute role but does a whacky job.
Recchipo is not another embarrassing film for Nitin, in fact it is interesting, it could have been far more interesting if the film could have been trimmed by twenty minutes. Just when you are thinking that the film is heading towards a climax, you are treated to another Arabic dance number.
The producers have clearly spent a fortune on the drama. The scenes between the trio – Nitin, Ileana and Raghu Babu and the entire sequence on the sand dunes has been picturised well. Nitin gives his dialogues a unique sense of method in it's madness and brings a great camaraderie to the cast.
Cinematography and screenplay is good, music is just about okay. The film is not bad, it doesn't excite, it's okay for a one time watch, a weakness to be found in the film is the length otherwise all the characters support each other in putting up a good show.
